Oriented on making people closer

Ashgabat is actively preparing to celebrate its 145th anniversary, which will be marked by a series of large-scale economic and cultural events in the capital.

The highlight of the celebrations will be the 25th Universal International Exhibition and Conference "White City Ashgabat," scheduled for May 24–25. Government agencies, domestic private businesses, and international companies will showcase their achievements at the event.

Forum participants will discuss attracting investment and further developing the Turkmen capital within the framework of the "smart city" concept. The plan of celebratory events, presented by Deputy Prime Minister Baymyrat Annamammedov and approved by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, also includes a gala concert featuring artists at the Ashgabat Song and Music Center, thematic forums, and creative meetings.

At the same time, the city is undertaking comprehensive improvement projects, festive lighting of buildings, and decoration of the main avenues.
