Oriented on making people closer

ASHGABAT, April 3 | ORIENT. The country's industrial and construction sector is demonstrating one of the fastest growing sectors in the national economy. In the first quarter of 2026, the overall planned work fulfillment rate exceeded 128%, demonstrating the large-scale deployment of infrastructure and industrial projects.

The Turkmenhimiya State Concern was the undisputed leader of the quarter. Enterprises in the sector exceeded their plan by more than 1.5 times, reaching 152.7%. These figures indicate the efficient utilization of fertilizer and polymer production capacities, which are in demand in both domestic and foreign markets.

Related departments are also demonstrating robust growth. Industry and Construction Materials: The Ministry achieved 128.5% of the planned work fulfillment; the Ashgabat City Administration implemented projects at 116.4% of the planned volume; Road construction indicators increased to 111.4%, while the energy and architecture sectors remained stable, achieving 104.7% and 105.6% of their targets, respectively.

The dynamic performance of Turkmenhimiya, coupled with the industrial sector, creates the necessary margin of safety for the implementation of further stages of urban development programs and regional industrialization.
