 Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan strengthen partnership in science and education

On April 9, negotiations were held at the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan with a delegation from the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan. The meeting was led by Deputy Minister Firudin Isa ogly Gurbanov. The parties discussed key steps to bring the educational systems of the two countries closer, according to the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

The talks were held in a constructive atmosphere, where participants emphasized the friendly and fraternal nature of relations between the countries. The main goal of the dialogue was to create new opportunities for youth and scientists through exchange of experience and joint projects.

During the meeting, priority areas of cooperation were identified. These include establishing direct ties between universities, simplifying academic mobility procedures for students and faculty, and actively introducing digital technologies and STEM education. Special attention was also given to launching joint research initiatives and network-based educational programs, which will form the foundation for innovative development and the training of in-demand specialists.

Following the talks, readiness to implement concrete initiatives was confirmed. This cooperation will open new horizons for students of both countries, providing them with access to modern teaching methods and advanced scientific infrastructure.
